Pro Bono Initiative

MVLP’s co-hosted a Pro Se Day Legal Clinic at the Washington County Chancery Courthouse on March 21, 2012 with the Chancery Court and the University of Mississippi School of Law’s Pro Bono Initiative Program.  Fifteen volunteer attorneys and 16 students from the University of Mississippi School of Law assisted 48 pro se litigants.  The Pro Bono Initiative Program is lead by Professor Debbie Bell.  Professor Bell was the featured speaker at the CLE seminar which preceded the legal clinic.
